If you haven’t set up your account yet, it’s quick and easy to do. Login in or set up your account now.

What details can’t be updated online?

For security reasons, you’re unable to update your:

  • Title
  • Full name
  • National Insurance number
  • Date of birth

To update these details, we need you to contact us with a copy of a document that confirms your identity. Take a look at ‘list A’ in our ‘confirming your identity leaflet for examples of what you can send us.

If you would like to update your National Insurance number, we’ll need you to send us written communication (eg a letter) from HMRC that includes your National Insurance number. This must be dated within the last 12 months.

You can scan and send a copy to us at info@peoplespartnership.co.uk, though please note, this isn’t considered a secure way of sending your information. You can also send this to us by post along with a brief explanation as to why you’re sending us this information.

Date of birth: we have 10/06/1950, but should be 06/10/1950

  5. keep your contact details up to date.

How to fix this

You’ll need to confirm the details you’re entering including your full name, date of birth, customer number and National Insurance number by emailing these details via our secure link, and filling out the enquiry form on our contact us webpage.

If we find the details we hold are incorrect, we might need to see proof of your correct details before we’re able to update our records.

When your employer signed you up to The People’s Pension, we’d have sent you joiner information with your customer number, either by post or by email. And any letters we’ve sent you since you joined will have your customer number on, too.

So, to find your customer number you could try to find a letter from us, or try searching your inbox or junk folder for any emails from:

If you can’t find any correspondence from us with your customer number on, you’ll need to contact us to ask us to send it to you again. You’ll need your National Insurance number so we can verify your identity – you’ll find this on your payslips or correspondence from HM Revenue & Customs.
